About me
I live in the North of England. I was a teacher of children with very special needs. They taught me a lot more about life than I ever taught them.
I have had the photography bug since I was a child and take my trusty camera everywhere. I like to find unusual shots especially amusing ones.
This blip of me still brings tears to my eyes. This is the cairn at the summit of Gummers Howe in the Lake District - not a great height but I had climbed a mountain. After making a complete mess of my leg, it was put back together with not much hope of great success. Being me, I had to prove them wrong - and I did. It was a long road and still is - but I showed them I could climb a mountain.
