Although I live a bit "off the beaten track", I do emerge (blinking) into the real world quite often.

In fact between work, my Rotary activity and my personal life, I have a very varied & vibrant existence.

I enjoyed taking photos when I was a youngster, and then virtually stopped when I got older. Big chunks of my life in France, New York and Thailand have gone almost unrecorded (except in my memory bank of course).

It was really just the coming of digital photography which brought me back into the fold. Sometimes I ponder buying a "serious" camera. Just occasionally I miss a shot because my iPhone or Nikon Coolpix can't cope. But I always seem to have something better to spend the cash on.
