About me
Born in South Shields, UK, at the mouth of the River Tyne, in 1948.
Royal Air Force 1965 - 78, worked and lived in Saudi Arabia for 8 years and then Nortel Networks, until 2009, which involved extensive travel to train telecomms engineers from Oslo to Jeddah, Moscow to Milan.
Travel has been a huge feature in my life, particularly the Middle East, and I am looking forward to more travel in my retirement.
Love our dogs, Jonty (Bichon) and Foxy (Long Haired Chihuahua) who both feature in my Blipfoto entries along with another of my passions - Aircraft!
Oh, and there's my wife Marlane as well, she features quite a lot in my life!
