I live with my mother who has vascular dementia and I care for her 24/7. Being a full-time carer can be very lonely and isolating. A couple of friends on Twitter have been blipping for a while and as I was given a rather splendid little camera for Christmas I thought it would be a good thing for me to do the same. I'm no photographer but I'm enjoying the challenge so far. Because of my mother's illness I'm not able to go out and about very often so have to try and find intersting ways to photograph things in and around the house and garden.
