Hey.

I'm Kirsty, I work as a Marine Biologist in an Offshore Development Consultancy (bit of a mouthful) and I'm pretty obsessed with becoming a better photographer.

I have a Nikon D40, but I mostly use my Leica D-LUX instead. Something about having a camera that fits in my purse.

I'd choose an interesting picture over a technically "good" photo any day, but my aim is to hit both targets.

I've been steadily drifting North for 23 years. I was born in Grimsby, grew up in Harrogate, live in Aberdeen and would love to move to Norway one day; I travel there as often as I can with my significant other (M). He's very patient when I want to stop every 4 paces and photograph a crisp packet or a bumblebee.
