Semi-retired visual artist enjoying living a creative life. I was attracted to this site through an article in the photographic magazine BLACK+WHITE. It seems a very worthwhile project to produce a photograph a day for a year. With hopefully an attendant increase in my "photographic awareness". I am primarily a painter, using many mediums in my work. I have been interested in photography since a teenager, originally in South Wales, UK, and Australia since 1967. I have never really approached photography with serious intent, using it mainly to record documentary stuff involving family, holiday snapshots etc. So at this point in time, this discipline re blipfoto, is just what I need.
