About me

I got my first camera in my early teens and started monochrome darkroom processing and printing in my late teens. In my twenties I added colour printing to my skills (using the lovely, but pricey, Cibachrome process). The arrival of a young family in my 30s meant I lost my darkroom (which became a child's bedroom) and reverted to trade processed slide film. In my 40s I discovered digital printing (from scanned slides) and in my 50s I bought my first digital camera. Now, in my 60s, I am beginning to get the hang of this photography thing.
