A little about me ...

I live in Carnoustie on the East coast of Scotland.
I am fortunate to live by the sea, which I have been grateful to be able to do for the greater part of my life. I have lived on Scotland's Western Isles, on Orkney (my paternal family line was from Hoy), the West coast, and latterly here on the East coast. The interaction between the sea and the land, and walking by the shore, are things I have realised I need to have in my life.

I have had various cameras over the years, and have enjoyed digital photography since its early days. I don't have an all singing DSLR, just an Olympus SP500Z and a tiny pocketable Lumix DMC-FS16 on which most of the blips will be shot.
