About
In the telling
Into my arms
Inbetween days
Let it slide
Flying home
Trip to your heart
Save a prayer
Gentlemen caller
Le chat de bleu
The winds of victory
Look both ways
What lies within
It lurks beneath the beach
Alone in the dark

I'm an artistic photographer, drawing on the eye for colour and proportion that I developed as a painter. Photography began to take over from painting in March 2007, when I began a year of daily self portrait photos. When that year ended, I tried to stop but it was too late. I lasted for eight days but on the ninth gave in to the urge. Since that day, April 6th 2008, I have not stopped and don't expect I ever will. Nowadays I don't restrict myself to self portraits and I am rarely to be found without a camera. Photography has become as much a part of my life as a reflection of it. My photos often run in series, because it helps me not only to focus but also fully explore the ideas or visuals that I play with. The work shown here is the best of my most common subjects.
