After gaining an Honors Degree in Photography at the University of Derby, I spent a year studying Visual Culture as a Post Graduate at the University of Nottingham. Portraits undertaken for an Artist group are now held within the National Public Collection. Main areas of Academic interest have been examining Transitional space within the Landscape and American Landscape Photography. Occasionally work as an Art Practitioner in the 'Creative Partnerships" scheme to enable children from diverse cultural and social backgrounds to use digital and film photography as a creative medium of self expression, learning and team work. Work Freelance on set commissions. Currently creating a new body of work on migrant night workers.
