Am just a keen amateur. Tried the professional path but found it too competitive and technical + hate the selling bit! Have taken part in local exhibitions and sold prints and cards etc over the past 6 years, but when my entire "posh" equipment was stolen (fell foul of RBS insurance loophole - read your policy carefully!) it curtailed a "glittering career"!! Still supply a few handmade photo-greetings cards and prints as required to friends, family and charity and keep my website open for anyone interested. My daughter-in-law introduced me to Blipfoto which seems much more fun and it's a great inspiration to see other folk's work!
